"Last Temptation" is one of the most interesting and intelligent of Ja Rule's solo efforts. Ja Rule, like many successful rappers, has a tendency to either over-tinker his lyrics or lyrically attempt to mimic the lyrical style of an earlier era, but Ja Rule, in the vein of Ice Cube, is a man of some originality.
